Chris Brown's Comeback?

Chris Brown has been under much speculation, since the 2009 incident with his then girlfriend, singer Rihanna. He later on, plead not guilty, and was charged with 2 felonies, one being assault. Brown went from being on top of the world to hitting rock bottom, all in one night. Just recently he was denied a visa to enter the U.K., which was one of the stops on his upcoming tour. Last night, Brown performed a Micheal Jackson tribute on the 2010 BET Awards, and I think he is back. Last year, it was rumored that Chris Brown was dropped from the award show because of his charges, therefore he was unable to pay homage to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. I did not get to watch the awards, but there was so much buzz about his performance, I had to personally watch it. It must of been the highlight of the night, because it is one of the only videos from the awards, that has surfaced on the web. If you missed Chris Browns' performance, here is your chance to watch it.

Title

I wrote a note about a month ago. It's completely random, but that is me in a nutshell.

"Somehow I feel that a restaurant that is named after their most commonly sold product, can't be that tasty. For example, a hamburger place, that sells hamburgers, and is named Hamburger. Like how good is their food, if they can't even come up with a creative enough name? I passed by a restaurant The Buffalo Wings. Looks like I won't be eating there."

Mixtape Madness: Ace Boogy Mixtape

Check out rapper/performer Ace Boogy who just released his self- titled debut mixtape. Ace Boogy also known as Kendall Brown, is a local DMV artist on the rise. Unlike most rappers, who rap nursery school rhymes and get paid because they added a little two-step dance, his lyrics are poetic and distinctive, and is accompanied by beats that compliment his lyrics. He released the single “Bye Bye” on May 27, 2010. (Check it out below) Ace Boogy is a part of the upcoming “Champagne Muzik Tour,” which is hosted by 93.9 WKYS. Ace Boogy along with other performers will be performing live at Pasha Lounge on June 30th. Tickets are $15 in advance. Contact me for more information.

Men's Nike Air Foamposite "Pearl"

So there was some debate on my last post as to which foamposite is better. The 'Pearls' or the 'Cough Drops.' The Pearls dropped in May 2009, but since 2010 is the year of the foams, why not re-release the Cough Drops as well as the Pearls. The Pearls were only sold at 'House of Hoops' locations, but this go-round they will be a regular, limited release. The Pearl colorway features the "icy" sole that is off white, the upper shell features a pearl white color base, with black and white swoosh logos.

Men's Nike Air Foamposite "Cough Drop"

The Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Cough Drop’ was released on June 19, 2010. They were named after the lucid red sole, which resembles a cough drop. This Foamposite retro has the popular “icy” sole that is fire red. The Foamposites upper shell features a smoked out black with red accents on the Swoosh and Penny logos. They were primarily released at NikeTown and House of Hoops locations. If you were not able to get a pair, there will be a wider re-release in December 2010, just in time for the holidays. Footaction has been confirmed for one of the sites re-releasing the shoe this December.

Women's Nike Air Max 24-7

Sorry boys. This show is all for the ladies. This metallic silver/Black-Dark Shadow-Dark Grey design has got to be the best colorway so far. This shoe is a combination of all of the previous Air Maxes. It features the lacing and heel of the Nike Air Max 95, the upper of the Air Max 97, and the Air Sole unit of the Nike Air Max 360.

Movie-The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Take your pick at what ever trailer you want, but know that I WILL be seeing this movie. The sudden "Twilight" craze still surprises me, considering that I was into it years before most other people. The movies don't do the books any justice, but everything is not perfect, and I know that in order to have a perfect movie, it would be at LEAST three hours. (And most movie goers don't want to sit that long in a movie theater seat)
